Virginia Nursing Student's Association

The NSNA once again hosted their annual convention at Disney World.  The House of Delegates, with representatives from nursing schools throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, presented a plethora of resolutions. As debate on health care reform legislation continued in Congress and the U.S. Senate, NSNA members took part in discussions about the changes that will affect nurses and their patients. Our very own Chris Malpaya threw his hat into the ring to run for NSNA Membership Director East. we waged a hard fought campaign!  In the end, we congratulated Danielle Miller of Maryland as she emerged the victor.
